Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001-9YN164 - not detected at BIOS

August 15th, 2012, 14:33

Hi, all

Recently purchased brand new Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001-9YN164 died while copying files.
After switch on/off and reboot HDD not seen at BIOS as in Windows / DOS too.

Motor works or, header moving, so seems no glitches or clicks.
Before dying there was sometime clicks till last 3-4 weeks.

Any solutions to recover HDD? Maybe recover microcose via terminal/MHDD/Victoriya/etc...

P.S. Not a SATA controller problem, on different PC dont work too.
Thanks!
