Hitachi HKS543212L9A300 PCB replacement - PN MLC and QR code

September 12th, 2012, 5:49

hello.

I have a dead Hitachi 120GB, currently hunting for a replacement PCB. I've found a couple of near matches, but each of them has some discrepancy. one of them has a matching MLC but the code on the underside differs, whereas the other has a matching (QR?) code, but a different MLC. both were produced in months near to the date of my own, but I was wondering if either of them would potentially work as a straight swap?

thanks for your time.

Hi, you ment HTS543212L9A300...right?
You should match the first two lines (see red drawing on pic) for a good Pcb swap...+ nv-ram

Cheers/ Bosse
