Is possible the HDD of DVD Player that install to CPU???

Hello all you guys!
This is my first post and i am also a poor technology person.
A few months ago i bought some DVD players that included the HDD but after i took out these HDD from theirs and i install to my computer, results are HDD not recognized.
I would like to ask that whether can or not These HDD are suitable for CPU?
and if can so how do i resovle these problems.i had totally 5 HDD(Westearn-WD2000,Hitachi-Deskstar), now i am keeping them for doing nothing, they are so wasted.

Hi, you can use them...but they might be Ata-locked, if not you need to reformat the drives.
Are the drives visible in Bios?

yes! I can not find them in BIOS. I really need the your helps!
