Dear friends,
We have a WD HDD (Black family) that stopped to work. It just stop to power on.
After we bought a identical PCB(2060-771714-002 REV P1), we tried diferent tests without sucess:
- old PCB with old rom -> the hdd didn´t power on
- old PCB with the new rom -> the hdd power on, spin but was not reconized by operation system
- new PCB with the old rom -> the hdd didn´t power on
- new PCB with the new rom -> the hdd power on, spin but was not reconized by operation system
It seems that the problema is in the rom!
Could anynone share with us the compatible firmware file backup that we can try to rewrite the firmware with WD HD Doctor tool?
Out HDD informations:
Western Digital Black family
Product of Thailand
MODEL: WD5000BEKT-75KA9T0
S/N:WX31A70K9553
DCM: HBCTJBNB
PCB(2060-771714-002 REV P1)
Best regards,
José Alencar
