I have a desktop pc core i3 with Intel DH61WW it was just working fine.This morning when I switched on,Windows freezed for a long time so I switched off my ups and restarted,Windows again freezed.This time when I switched off my ups my pc still running,I don't know what malfunction in my ups,But this time hard disk is not recognized by bios and as well as windows.I tried changing cables but no uses.I also tried in my friend's pc but the result is same.One thing happened in my friend's pc,I went In device manager and had a scan for hard ware changes.my HDD appeared for a while and appeared a message to format it and then disappeared.I have a lot of data on this.Please help me !!!

Hard disk is deteriorating, bad sectors and likely a firmware problem. If you want to confirm this, search "terminal" and post output here once powering drive on.
Do not format if data is important.

I examined the drive is spinning,
I want to say one more thing I tried seatools dos but no use...

But if your data is important, think if you want to do it yourself or take pro help.

you mean I have to connect rs232 to my hdd and perform some tests??
sir yesterday I again tried seatools Dos it some times detecting hdd but unable to perform short test as well as long tests....

Yes. But for now don't send any commands. Just capture HDD startup messages. Separate power supply for HDD is handy.

The "search" function on the Forum, Google is easy to use as well. Here are 2 links about the TTL serial connection this is NOT a normal rs232 signal level so don't use normal serial port level pins you need the TTL level signals described below.
