Deleted downloads folder and am unable to recover from SSD

So for some reason my downloads folder got moved into another folder and the downloads folder that i was in from the favorites was actually a shortcut and before i realized that i had clicked delete it said to big for recycle bla blah

i clicked cancel right away but all of the files and a few folders were already deleted only about 20 folders were left

i have tried a few programs to try and recover deleted files but each of them only really finds about 4 files

I work at a repair store so this is kind of embarrassing for me, i have recovered files for customers several times but i cannot get my own files lol

i tried easus, stellar, recuva, active and some others

i have been using the deleted file option and not the full or disk options as i did delete the files

would doing a disk recovery provide me with better results over a deleted file recovery, and if so how come??
