October 23rd, 2012, 14:49

I have a WD20EARX-00PASB0 with DCM HARNHTJMAB Set 2011 and PCB 2060-771698-002 with bad heads.

I found 2 donors:

SN: WCAZAC988414
Model: WD20EARX-00PASB0
Date: 06 OCT 2011
DCM: HARNHTJCAB
R/N 771698
Product of: Thailand
PCB Sticker: 2061-771698-904 AB
PWB: 2060-771698-004 REV A

and

SN: WCAZAC953267
Model: WD20EARX-00PASB0
Date: 06 OCT 2011
DCM: HARNNTJCHB
R/N 771698
Product of: Thailand
PCB Sticker: 2061-771698-904 AB
PWB: 2060-771698-004 REV A

I tried to swap heads, from both donors and it doesn't work.
I have swapped back one head kit back to donor and it works fine, so heads are ok.
Also tried a hotswap with DDI and still no go.

What am I missing here?!?!?!

I have seen a lot of those drives failing because of SA specially P-list. Check modules first.
