i HAVE A WESTERN DIGITAL EXTERNAL HDD IN WHICH HAVE SOME FOLDER, SHOWS THE SIZE OF ZERO BYTES.SO HOW CAN I RECOVER THE FILES FROM THAT FOLDER

if your hard disk is detecting properly, and you are able to see other files and folders, then your problem may be due to virus or corruption of files.
try R-studio , scan the drive and check if you can see the data that you want to recover.
But if there is clicking noise or bad sectors found in the drive when scanning, then stop the scan , there may be physical damages to the drive that needs different approach.
