WD20EARS donor drive

December 16th, 2012, 8:41

Hello.

First sorry for my poor English.
I'm searching donor drive (replacing hdd head) for model WD20EARS-00MVWB0 (DCM: HHRNNT2MH). What should I keep in mind, when i want to buy a donor drive? Is only model number (WD20EARS-00MVWB0) important? Does the DCM have to be the same?

How important is the data on this drive?

Why do you believe the heads need to be replaced?

How many successful head replacements have you done on other drives from that family?
