December 25th, 2012, 11:23

Hi. My Name is Chris. I have lost a TB of info 3 times!!! I Can't do it again. My question is, is there a way to get a new circuit board for following Drive?
WD19EAVS-00d780 Caviar GP 1.0 TB
It stopped transferring data & upon inspection, I noticed that three out of seven of the sata data pins were broken off. I was hoping to get equal circuit board but wd said it was impossible. Is it?
Please help!!!!

But it would be easier to attach a sata connector ,temporarily ,to get the data out, with some help from someone who has good soldering skills and tools.

DIY has its risk, so if your data is really important, take help from DR, it should be an easy job for them and shouldn't cost you so much too.
