there is new headache ,,,
now there is Toshiba Hitachi 3.5 in the market
sorry for the bad resolution .. i take the pic while the hdd is plugged .

What nightmare ? Using them since last year and they are quite well designed and up today they work fine. Here they have a price similar to WD, but the quality is absolutely different in my opinion. Of course when it comes to data recovery...

I think PC3K supports it just fine

Ask the support in ACELABS, they should help.
Is the drive ID as a Hitachi Family at all in PC3000 ?
