DiamondMax 22 dont work anymore

Hello to all forum, i m here for bother you with a my problem... i have a Maxtor DiamondaMax 22 STM1000340AS of 1 Tb, firmware MX15 , from yesterday i had this problems:

- I have W7 x64, yesterday start to have blue screen sometimes, i did not image was disk cause i just yesterday installed new mouse and i thought were there drivers to do conflicts, it happen 2-3 times yesterday but i had no time to read blue screen cause was so fast

- Today there HD dont work more, i mean, BIOS reconize correct it, it spin and do smooth noise, just at start first 10 seconds classic noise of disk, after it spin smooth all the time, but no work, in w7 file manager see the disk but as generic, and with no size

what can happen? i dont think is broke because all sound normal..... some elettronics problems?

A yes another information, when appear icon in W7 file manager it say "disk must be formated before used" but anyway size is always zero

Seems like a firmware issue. Need advanced data recovery equipment to address this issue.

But you think i can recover it? i hope disk inside is not ruin, also because i dont hear strage noise, all as normal.

A yes a question: i have a twin hard disk, same model etc, it work now, if i change the elettronic with the good one, it can return to work? thanks :)

No it will not work like that, 100% guaranteed WILL NOT

Sounds like your bad drive has firmware damage, quite easy for professional.
