Hi pclab and cleanroom. Thanks for suggestion.
Unfortunately both VLC & NVR player does not support this files ( NVR player supports avi files only)
Forensic Innovations latest FI Find File V 2.37 ( having signatures of more than 4000 file types has failed to identify these files.

i`ve tried my DVR Player on many other brands (playing those RAW) and worked
but the problem is mine is Licensed which cannot share with others (comes with the PSS App.)
and your file here is supported (tested it before and wrote my note about the header)
the question for you now is HOW?

einstein9,
I was wondering if you are willing to share the name of the DVR player name.
Recently I was assigned a case to recover a hdd with CCTV footage in it, but I couldn't obtain the actual DVR.
Thanks for sharing.

Update for this case
These files does not contain any audio /video Data. They are indexing files created by DVR to keep track of sectors used.
This could be useful for everyone doing dvr related recovery

Regret I was completly wrong in analysing these files. My earlier conclusion is wrong.
.nvr files indeed hold large data. They are actually .264 files.
