Hello
I have this hdd that wont spin up. Its not recognized in windows either.
MK7559GSXP HDD2J51 E UL01 S is the model number.
I ordered a replacement pcb from eBay but to no effect.
The hdd tries to spin up, but then resets its motor and tries to spin up again. The laptop it was in fell down.
Im charging the camera and will post pics.

99% stiction. The heads are stuck to platter caused by the drop. If the data is important i would get a pro to look at it and he may be able to do it for a low cost if the reading heads are not damaged.
Just swapping Toshiba boards will not work anyways, so put the old board back since it is probably fine.
stop spinning it up too... if the heads are stuck you could cause more damage by turning it on over and over again.

We currently have one in the shop. It was "probably" dropped and the heads were stuck onto the platter. The heads were also damaged in a way that they would ruin the platters if not replaced.
