I wouldn't be focusing/concerned about the items you put in bold. Have you done a headswap before?

i did opened some HDDs covers in my sitting room before , where dust float around :P


just kidding , yes i did some head replacement , and i have a clean room , just i had my concerns about the firmware being different between the two .

FW ver is is not relevant to heads compatibility.

last head of 5400.4 sometimes is painful,
let us know if your donor as Northwind said, will match ( i am positive too)

I can remember not so long ago leaving H3 on one of these to image for 3 weeks. Got it all, dead slow though.
