Can you elaborate on "damaged"?

Was it formatted? Can you image the device?

What are the first few sectors showing?

Have you tried the Bitlocker Recovery Tool?

Are you running a version of Windows that supports Bitlocker?

thank you for your reply

when plugged it shows the bitlocker windows telling " recovery error"

all sectors showing
UNREADABLESECTOR
using winhex

and yes i tried that tool "bd-repair" and it gave me
ERROR: The input volume has suffered damages to critical information related to the decryption key.
Please try the -KeyPackage option to specify a key package. The volume may not be recoverable.

i am using winddows 7 ultimate

CK asked a great question, and your answer above means you are looking for the wrong problem - stop wasting time looking for a BitLocker problem. You actually have a flash problem, based on your answer above, so it's no surprise that BitLocker can't decrypt something which is unreadable. :(

If you don't have flash recovery skills, you'll need to fix / outsource that part first.

+1 Vulcan.

You have a media problem which you need to address first.

Forget about Bitlocker for the moment, that's a mere file system issue.

You need to figure out what's wrong with the flash before you worry about bitlocker.
