ST_31500341AS hear 11 times click sound and spin down

Hello guys,

I have problem with my HD Seagate 1500 Gb
my spes HD is ST_31500341AS firmware CC1H
P/N : 9JU138-302
Date Code 10196
Thailand

the story begin with my HD suddently hang when first boot, then i reset still not detected so i push reset again quickly then show can boot failure or something i forgot, then i reset again quickly (i do reset 3 or 4 times) then I can't find my drive any more
and i hear sound like searching position in my HD 11 times (clik), and then turn spin down 

when i see in bios
change they name with ST_M13FQBL 1117F38F
in C/H/S   8025 / 16 / 63  
cap 4142 MB

when i get in the windows the drive detected with name ST_M13FQBL, but can see anything


my question is,
for some cooling i put 2 fan (8 cm) on the bottom of HD 1.5 T (gap about 1 cm ) does it matter ?

actually damage my HD is on the PCB or on the motor? how to check it to make sure ?

When a drive changes names it is called factory alais. This is not something you can fix on your own without special tools to diagnose the problem on this one. You will need to find a DR company to fix this for you. If you keep messing with this drive and trying to start it again and again you will only damage this more. I would suggest that you stop this one now if you want the data that is one this drive. Other wise if data is not important check date on this and if possible send back for RMA. Other wise buy a new drive and start over again. The answer is if you ask if this one is bug for Seagate No it is not. This is another issue that needs to be address. Cooling this will not bring back the drive at all. Changing out the PCB will not bring back the drive. All attempts to DIY will not bring back the drive. You need help from a person who understand this problem and can properly fix this. We can help by recommending a person in your area if you are interested in finding a good DR company.

what can I do myself platter swap with such a device?
because I think that my HD was corrupted from head & (IC head / Preamp)
if you can do step by step help with youtube videos that I downloaded or is there specific steps that are not visible in the youtube video?

You do not value your data much at all. Sorry but you will not make it on your own. Many before you have tried and failed and now their drives are in the trash bin or used as door stops. One was smashed with a hammer. Your data your choice. If you can not afford the guy near you then contact the one we said.

now i belive that i can't get my data with do it my self event i have tool, like you said many people fail.

So from now i consider to find who will be help me to recovery my data &, and i have 3 option :

2. PT HDD Studio Data Recovery Indonesia (http://www.hddstudio.co.id) location in jakarta (i must packing my HD to send it )

The only one I know on this list is number 2. I would say go with them. But others could know the other ones here but I do not sorry
