Hello! I am having an issue with one of my HDD's.
It was fitted onto my little Acer Netbook, and I had added an ATA password. The Mobo of the netbook went FUBAR, so I had to unlock the HDD through other means. After some searching I stumbled upon ATAPWD. I managed to Unlock and Disable the user password. Now, I can view the files, although they are all corrupt. The file sizes are there, but they are unreadable. Pictures don't come up, and text documents appear corrupt.
The only thing I can gather is that the header for each file has been trashed, rendering them useless.... Any way to revert/fix this?
Quick edit: The only corrupt files are the ones inside the Documents and Settings... Files that didn't have permissions set by the User I had on the Acer Netbook open up normally.
