My Laptop HDD (seagate)fall

My Laptop HHD Seagate Momentus 5400.6 (320 GB) fall down and stop working and when try to connect it through USB to other laptop , it give a peep sound for some time and stop and didnot be accessible. i dont want it to be repaired. just i need to take off the data as it is very important :(:(

Then take it to a professional data recovery place.

NOTHING you can do DIY, it's a physical internal problem.

yes, the drive was powered on when it fell :(

Stiction, and most likely head damage. Heads in those drives fail very easily.

Yep, Seagate Momentus drives are delicate, one tap and they go funny, more than likely the heads are buggered on it. I would not power it up anymore, take it to a Pro to get data recovered. Anything you do now will only damage it further.

heads damage, sticion or platters damage. If your data is important contact with local pro
in case off heads damage or sticion a pro will be able to get your data
but, in case off platters damageno way to get your data.
