WD7500KMVV-11A27S2 Failed firmware update

Have a WD7500KMVV-11A27S2 Failed firmware update with a failed firmware update.

Module 2E has a faulty header but everything else important seems fine. HD activity light just blinks constantly when plugged in but can communicate via serial fine. Heads 0 and 1 test out fine on PC3K. OK to try replacing 2E on this drive or any other ideas?
