And do you really need a good PSHT copy1?
Can't you have sector access?

Needs a head swap, as at least h1 is toast.
Suggest not powering on as is. These are easily prone to further damage when trying to image working heads first. Got one right now. Wasting parts on it...

This is new ARM hitachi drive. Problem can be solved, but, i am afraid, you have to send it.
If you check PSHT module in RAM , it is empty.

Then in red we can see mods with errors:
PSHT Copy 1. - P-List
Maybe not needed because we have "PSHT Copy0" fine.
DMP1 -Unknown module
I do not know info about this module, maybenot important
WRT2 - Marker at head 2.
maybe here is the problem
What you think?
July 12th, 2013, 10:51
I am testing
this is the head map of HDD.
HEad Number:
3
HEadMap:
00 01 02 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F
July 12th, 2013, 10:52
As Dr. Kiev told you, I don't think no one will tell you how to do it.
Specially as that is something that only a few people know about yet.
July 12th, 2013, 10:53
but if i change HEAD map:
HEad Number:
1
HEadMap:
00 0f 0f 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F
i can acess from sec=0 to 195551
July 12th, 2013, 10:53
HEad Number:
2
HeadMap:
00 01 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F
i can acess from sec=0 to 418751
July 12th, 2013, 10:54
HEad Number:
3
HeadMap:
00 01 02 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F 0F
i can acess from sec=0 to 602279
July 12th, 2013, 11:35
then the problem is probably in WRT2 Marker
if this module have problems HDD do not know where change the working head.
what yiou think
have you got FW HITACHI HTS727550A9E364?
thanks
July 16th, 2013, 7:05

PSHT module s responsible for LBA access. If that module does not work then there is no LBA access.
Solution: solve the PSHT module problem.
How? Try to read each PSHT copy at the time, then patch together the module as best as possible in one good module, fill any 00s error gaps and see if it works.
Further problem? The module likely cannot be written back to the drive, so it will have to be loaded in RAM.
Has this been tried already?
