I have sent my HDD to a recovery company in Canada for analyse and repairing. They told me the costs are high and it is better to find another company in Europe.
I need a head replacement for my HDD how much it will costs? I am able to ship it worldwide. I hope I can get my research files back that I need for graduation.

I'm curious to know which data recovery lab in Canada would suggest that...very odd. If the drive wasn't previously tampered with, we usually charge our level 3 price of $1100 for this type of project here.

We are around the same price.
