DEAR friends

i have a hard disk

WD1600AABS
DCM:DBRNHTJAAN
PCB:2060-701444-004

problem on this hdd i create a partition on DM software
partition was made it perfectly & no problem
but than a format a c: partition on dos mode
format c:/s/u

0 percent completed
NOT READY
Format terminated

i change the PCB But same error
i cheek the head by salvation doctor
head was OK
please guide what can i do how to solve this problem by WDR 3.2

hdd has badsectors .

First do a full Low Level Format with some Windows / DOS tool.

If it still has bad sectors, use WDR:
1.) Logical Scan.
2.) When Logical Scan is finished, do Merge G to P.
3.) Clear SMART
4.) Low level format with some Windows / DOS tool.

Finished.

If still bad sectors, better throw HDD away.

can any body tell me how to disable head ? please send me full proccedure
