seagate ST3000VX000 won't work

Good day.
First of all sorry if it not smart question, and also for my English.
Also I try to find something similar in forum, but didn't.

I have a problem with internal disc. It start clicking and disapper in system.

It click several times during power up. I fill that it spin. But then it's stop spin and stop clicking. On one PC it's not affect to loading - but nobody see it. (bios, windows 7, seagate utility)
On other PC it's stuck loading the PC.

Is it possible to do something for return it to live and get data? Please help.

9 out of 10 there is an internal problem (firmware or heads or media dmage or a mix of things) , definitely no DIY.

If your data is important, you should get advice (a diagnosis) from a good DR company, as now the chances of DYI are really low.

Anyway, if your data is not important and if you have extra time, you can build a terminal (there's some instructions on the forum) and check it's output.

If you have valuable data there, take it to data recovery company
If data is not important get it replaced, create an RMA with Seagate, expect it to be delivered to you in couple weeks
