buffalo ministation hd-pc1tu2 not working

HI,

can someone help me with restoring my hard drive, I have a buffalo ministation hd-pc1tu2, which every time i plug into my PC, it makes a noise and then it stops working.

because of this situation i can not format the hard disk or even open it to see what the issue is.

if anyone know how i will able to format or restore my Hard disk, please let me know

Can you describe the noise in more detail? Also, what is happening with the computer when connecting the Buffalo?

all it does is beeps 5-10 times and then completely turns off. nothing happens to the PC, it does not recognize it. and i also i tried to connect it with another pc and the same thing happen.

anything you can help me with?

Any chance it may have been dropped or sustained some sort of shock?

I would imagine it has, sometimes it doesn't take a lot.

From the sounds of it, it's a physical issue and not dot. Sorry
