Recover data from RAID0

September 23rd, 2013, 15:33

Hello,

I've 2 Seagate 1Tb HDD configured in RAID0. On of the drives have some problems, when I connect it in PC3000 I can hear a strange sound before the drive reaches readiness. Some SMART values are not OK.

I have tried most of the data recovery software (R-Studio, File Scavenger, Raid Recovery, RAID Reconstructor, ReclaMe RAID Recovery and others). In the the best of them (R-Studio), I can see the directory tree but most of the files (90% or more) are not readable :(. For the others, I can only get some files in row recovery.

The 2 drives are recognized in Disk management in Windows. But in the Data recovery software, I can't see the SN or other values (size,...) in one of the drives.

Any software or solution to get access to data please.

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Kind regards,

Working off of clones with correct RAID parameters will likely improve results.
