good evening ;

i have this 1 TB drive that keeps bsy , even in kernel mode ! any ideas to fix the drive ? no data is required ..

am suspecting a corrupted ROM

i don't think it's about rom at all .what tools you work with ?

Short the pins of head reading channel same like Seagate Hdd to get ready status and access of firmware.

am using dfl wdii , and the drive in not getting ready neither in normal nor in kernel mode

,,

waqas_ali766 , have u tried this trick before ?? and shorting the channels (if succeded will give access to the rom only .. )
