Recovering lost partition

October 6th, 2013, 17:04

Hello!

I've moved all my hardware from one case to another. After this process, one of my hard drives was displayed as "RAW" in Windows.

I've ran Test Disk to fix the situation and chose "Analyse". After the drive was analysed, I wanted to list all the files on the found partition, but I got "filesystem damaged". Mistakenly, I've chose to write the partition information and after this command was I completed, I wasn't able to see the partition in Test Disk.

I didn't try a Deep Search yet, because it takes very long. What is there left to do? Should I try a file recovery software, like EasyRecovery or do you recommend something else?

Regards
Chris

Use DMDE, it's very good and there's free version.
