7200.12 serial terminal - can't ctrl-Z

October 10th, 2013, 6:19

I'm sure I've read about this before, but cant find the topic
probably under 7200.xx LED issues

I have a couple of working 7200.12's

500GB
can ctrl-Z and get in ok most of the time)
(although sometimes depends if the sata data cable is also connected or not)

1TB
see the Rst 0x20M at power on
but cant get in with ctrl-Z
even if wait a bit

Do you need to do anything special to get in with ctrl-Z

eg shorting the read channel
