Hi everybody,
this is my first question, i think i will do news on the next time, cause i usually repair PCs... So, let's go with
I have a toshiba MK5059GSXP HDD2J53 Z SL01 B with FW 010 A0/GN001U, i can't find the exactly board, but i could find the same model of PCB with same controller chip 88i9117-TLA2 of a different model (but same capacity, 500GB) with no FW in... what should i do about?

What is the different model? Also, the 'GSXP' is same as 'GSX', GSX is more common to find.

A little add, the problem of the hdd is that it begin to run, i could hear it running and after some seconds it begin to do click loop, like the head go until the limit and it whisk... should be the controller?

Much of the info on the board is generic, its the on-board adaptives that are important. there should be an external ROM at 'IC602'. Assuming the geometry of the both boards look the same, and are from same series of drive, swapping this adaptive chip should be ok.
You should be very careful though. Damage the ROM chip, and its unlikely you can reach your data. also, there are various faults which can be easily mistaken for faulty PCB, you should really write more information here and it might help identify the real problem, or confirm a PCB related one.

It runs like so when i connect it with the usb adapter, it begins to do that noisy for (about) 50 seconds and after it stops, but windows just not recognize any kind of usb disk and if i try to reload p&p peripherals it begins with the noisy again... if i connet it in my pc (internal) the bios just block itself while it check peripherals
If i just replace the PCB from another HDD, doesn't it work? I saw some videos about changing the ROM chip with hot hair, i haven't another good tool to do it

With Toshiba drives you MUST move the ROM chip over, without this it wil NEVER work.
Why do you think you need to change the PCB?
What are the symptoms of your failure?

I dont think the problem is with PCB. You should get it looked at professionally if data is of any value

Yes agree, PCB is 99.9% not the issue.
It has heads and/or media damage

So i just give back the hd to my client... i don't have the tools to change it xD... i'm enough sure that if i change it in a simple room i will break it

Hello everyone!
Yesterday a customer brought me exactly the same drive with exactly the same symptoms!

From your experience and your knowledge, could be a product line faulty heads or a specific component failed at PCB?
Two same cases with same symptoms aren't too rare for heads or media problem?
