Samsung HD502HJ MHDD Results Question

October 11th, 2013, 21:40

I recently ran MHDD on the hard drive in the subject line. The results are as follows:

<3ms: 3817028
<10ms: 12920
<50ms: 515
<150ms: 19
<500ms: 2

I had no sectors >500ms, and I did not have any UNCs or anything else. I only had warnings at 667335 & 6284475.

Can someone more knowledgeable than me tell me if I need a new hard drive? The disk has been wiped with Wipe My Disks from this site. Thanks in advance to all who can give me some tips and information :D

It's worn out , not at dead end of lifetime. If you find a pro in your area who can professionally refurbish it (need dedicated hw for it) for a small fee go for it otherwise use for noncritical storage , use another and carry on. I can't help, too far.
