October 24th, 2013, 17:16

Hello,

I have broken disk Seagate 7200.4 ST9320423AS.
After normal connect and turn up disk I can hear very quiet noise, check attachment. Motor is working.

After connecting disk to terminal I have:
Code:
Rst 0x10M
ASCII Diag mode

ctrl+z
Code:
F3 T>V40

LED:000000CE FAddr:002935E7
Rst 0x10M

Is this electronic or physical issue.

maybe you should short read channel pins.
you can search this forum and find how to short read channel pins
upload your drive PCB pics on both side. some one can tell you the ocations of read channel pins on you PCB.

Hello Zbyszek,

I have exactly the same model, and the same problem, did you find some solution?

LED: 00000067 (when PCB is removed).

Rst 0x10M (When PCB is on HDD)
