Samsung internal HD of PC not detected. Please help

October 28th, 2013, 6:37

Hello
i have a samsung hard drive of Model no: HD503HI of 500gb capacity. while turning on my system few days back, my system didn't boot so i tried to boot it with a windows installation DVD and install a fresh copy of windows. while selecting C drive for installation the process started and some time later it failed. when i tried to do it again it didn't show my HD. so i went to a vendor and he said its dead. but i knew we can recover from damaged HD after a small research from web. I replaced my hard drive and i am having the old one too. i tried to connect it with ATA/SATA cable which i got from ebay. It detects my HD only for a small period of time in which it shows format drive.
I also tried with ubuntu live CD, UBCD and windows live CD. i also tried the parted magic method. It only showed once in windows live CD for 1/2 hour in which i only recovered few MBs data. now its not detecting my HD. Not to mention i did all the above in my PC as well as in my friends laptop. there is a tick tick sound sound coming from my HD. Please anyone having knowledge of how to fix my HD so that i can recover my data from my HD will be really helpful. and if its in really bad condition and needs professional help please guide me with any service centers in visakhapatnam. I have tried Samsung as well as seagate centres and they both declined to help because it is out of warranty period.

Thank you.
