Hello, i want to ask for a solution for my internal HDD.
I just pausing in a middle of a video when i'm leaving my laptop untouched for maybe 15 minutes, but when i got back, the screen has changed to the startup screen.
When i waited for a while, the screen showed "Operating system not found" message and when i checked BIOS, it shows no sign that my HDD is plugged in and the HDD is making sound like this

Sounds like heads are stuck to platter.
If data is important then it's not DIY as it requires the drive opening in a cleanroom.
Shouldn't be too expensive at this stage, prior to DIY attempts.

But it's a "one shot deal".
Only this week we've seen double figures of "unstuck heads" causing irreversible platter damage with slightly bent heads causing microscopic scratches on the platter surface.
Your data = your choice
