drive spin then stop

Hi,

I have Seagate momentus 5400.6 320GB 2.5". When I turn on power supply, the drive spins for a while then stops spinning. After that I cannot communicate via terminal program(putty) any more. During its spinning, putty shows some message then stop spinning. After that i issue ctrl+z but nothing happens.

Yes, bad heads.

Do not power it up anymore, to prevent any FURTHER damage.
