WG My Passport doesnt show up under my computer?

Its been working since I got it and showing up until now. I was trying to make a bootable USB in command prompt earlier and i think i triggered something. I was looking around on the internet and saw that i should look in device manager and i saw it under disk drives, but as stated above it does not show up under my computer.
Also the external hard drive (my passport) has the security feature that DOES show up when i plug it in, i go through that, but I cant get into the hard drive.








UPDATE:
tried plugging it into another computer and it says "I must format this disk to drive G before I can use it". I assume that would erase it. HELP
