Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello everyone
Since this is my first topic i will make it short and simple.
i have 500 GB Toshiba external drive, when i plug it in Windows it show under Device management "Not Initialized" and Zero byte size and also in linux "Ubuntu" it shows "Toshiba usb 3.0" but also Zero byte.
but when i connect it using SATA to mhdd, ddrescue, Diskpatch, Testdisk, it does not show at all.
I have no access to a donor drive to check if it is a board problem.
My question is " in this case, Is it a board problem? and if not, will DeepSpar disk imager will sole it for me?

Rather than killing the drive while guessing its condition, why not get it assessed by a professional data recovery lab with the necessary tools and equipment to accurately diagnose the drive? If the data is not worth the lab fees, I suspect there is little you will be able to do on your own.
