RAID 5 recovery

December 23rd, 2013, 11:44

Hi Gurus

I have IBM server with 5 SCSI HDD mounted like RAID 5 array one of the HDD's was failed and the engineers tried to reconstruct the array but they failed also so they mount another array RAID 5 over the old one now they give it to me to recover the data but I wasn't able to reconstruct the original RAID 5 to recover the data, I tried may programs like R-studio, Raid reconstructor, File extractor from SD, WIN HEX, I can recover the data and the tree directory but the most of the files are corrupted, so anybody can help o there is any method to recover data from this array?

thanks

If you are willing to pay for it, we should be able look at the clones remotely via Linux.

1) IBM server has unusual configuration
2) It could be, one another drive wasn't working for period of time, and you need ot miss it in construction , but the problem you already has lost one drive .
PM me or email me if you need double check
