I was upgrading an ST3600057FC Seagate Eagle HDD when a power failure happened and now the HDD is "dead". In the past I've removed, reprogrammed and replace with a new or original rom. Programming was with a compatible Seagate HDD LC,NC,N make and model of HDD copied from that rom. By compatible my experience has been that even end user vendors such as EMC,NetApp,SGI,etc. are compatible rom codes. My problem is the rom is a 25FU406B and I don't have the rom code or a programming station. Looking for either or advice on this. This is just a serial rom not the the more difficult NVRAMs FlashPROMs to replace.
