segate ST4000NM000 bricked

The drive powers up for a few minutes. Soudsn like it is attempting spinup. Nothing happens intil hardware reset occurs.Has anyone had any problems woth this drive?

Can I fix?

It sounds like its trying to spin up. No spinning happens just 4 attmpts or the same noise 4x. then crickets. not working. No burn smell or any sign of frying.

Probably head stuck to platter somewhere.

This is an enterprise drive, likely was part of some RAID config. If so, then maybe you have the other drives, which will allow some more comparison tests between a working drive and the failed one.

Also, do you just want to fix it? Or need data recovery from it? If need data recovery, then it may complex or impossible.

I have attached pictures of the PCB and a recording of the sound its generating. Please let me know if you've heard this one before and if it is something that can be repaired.
