Hi
soon we are lunching a good manual for sediv .
and good forum for sediv software .
soon it will be open . and users who buy sediv can download manual from forum .
new version is coming soon which has a ability to change sa from one head to other head if sa area of the head is not good.
for example u have a hdd but it shows some modules are damaged . u run selfscan sa and it shows many bads which is not possible to add in sa list . then u need to use this function name region shift. it change the sa location from one head to another head. to repair hdd with head cut and in case of data recovery it helps

Great, i wait the new version to buy it!

I tested the demo version for WD drives, i can see that sediv is very good for WD drives.
WDR and SD tool give me a lot of troubles on some drives (example on mod reading)
but mod reading in sediv is always very good and fast.

Tool is really good, especially the WD part. Will help people to understand the implemented features.
And is really good that can work with UDMA channels.
Congratulations about the good idea Waqas Ali.

Only format of mod 01 is different. Even WDMarvel DEMO can read the modules of these drives.
WDR also can read the modules " via enumeration"...

Try to use WDR with PC3K PCI card

WDR will detect the UDMA/PCI PC3000 and you can connect the drive to PC-3000, Plug power using the PC-3000 Software and then use the WDR to detect the PC3K port and use it that way.
You will have the advantage of the PC3K card working in a way that will not hand the system neither give you trouble reading the drive modules, combined with the power of WDR.
SeDiv also support PC3000
