Trying to Use mhdd to mark slow/weak blocks as bad on a 1tb WD Caviar black.
I have used the erase command then ran the erase delay option to mark ~85 blocks that read over 500 as bad and not having luck. It seems that the drive keeps finding the same ones. After the scan finishes it says that it colpleted but after running another scan the slow blocks are still there.
There are no bad blocks on the drive. Am i doing something in the wrong order?
