Hi I recently got some 2.5" hdds second hand and I found this 500gb thats locked. I tried hddunlock.com but it says they dont support it. Is there any other way of unlocking the drive for further use. I dont care if it has to get wiped as Im not interested in the contents of it.
Many thanks

No ideas anybody? Is there any point in pursuing this or should I just forget about unlocking it?

Tried forum search function?
ZU may help
If still no go, a specialized data recovery shop can take care of it. Have plenty in UK.

If we are talking about only unlocking, then should be less than $80, I assume, not sure. Just a pure guess, I have no idea.
It is not a time-consuming process. It's a matter of having the right tools.
