8gb mmc card detected only for 2 seconds

There is a problem with my 8gb micro sd card.When i attached it with my pc it show only for 2 seconds and suddenly disappear. I attach it with many pc and different os platforms but faced same problem. I tried to repair it with many mmc format,wipe,resize,zero fill utilities but i am unable to format it because there is no detection of this card after 2 seconds. I inserted it in java/android/Symbian phones but card remove automatically in 2 seconds. Please help me how can i Format/Repair this card.

Maybe oxidation on contacts?
Try to clean them with pencil eraser

As you don't want data, then throw it away. There is an internal problem with one of the components inside and I believe not fixable.
