Head Map Donor Match Advice Needed

April 30th, 2014, 13:44

I have a 2.5" WD5000BPVT that needs a head swap. The patient drive has this heads map:-
LH PH
0 0
1 1
2 2

I cannot find a matching donor drive.
I can find one with 4 heads and matching micro Jogs
LH PH
0 0
1 1
2 2
3 3

Will this work okay as a donor? All other parameters (DCM etc) match?

I had replace 4 heads in place of 3 heads in WD5000BPVT and they worked like charm.
So go ahead they will work.
