There are several +1.35V and +3.3V test points on the PCB. What voltages do you measure at these locations?

What voltages do you measure at pins 2,4,6 of the preamp contacts at J1 near the pointy end of the PCB?

fzkbar;

test points V s ; 3.3v are ok , 1.35v little low , 1.2v

at pins; 2. one shows me 3.3v but 4. and 6. are 0 (zero)

I don't know what voltages to expect at the preamp. That would depend on whether the preamp runs from a single supply or split supplies.

The +1.2V figure seems consistent with other PCBs.

There appears to be a third regulator to the left of the SMOOTH chip. I would measure the voltages at D2, L2, D1, L1, and Q1.

The only other thought that comes to mind is whether the drive is configured for PUIS.
