How to fix, to recover files.
It's Barracuda 7200.9.
I test on two good drives to replace PSC's and I'm able to Access files.
Is it possible, that also this head is not 100% good

Thank you for any advice

It's Barracuda 7200.9.

It's either defects in the SA or the donor heads are unable to write due to the difference between them and original ones.

Do the following:
1. Using the drive, create a loader (read appcode only);
2. Load that loader with all the checkboxes enabled except head map editing;

You should get READY and be able to start reading. Should the reading process be slow with interruptions, then install another head stack, current one "isn't compatible enough".

Hello,

right now I try heads from drives which was released between 07066 and 07088.
I have drives released between 07200-07300(right now I don't have it here so date is in this range).
Is worth to try with this or better to find date close to 07066

Best regards

Jure

Pay attention to the first three characters of the serial number.
