How to open enclosure from LaCie P'2930 Porsche Design ?

July 7th, 2014, 7:51

Hi guys,

Having to open the casing of an Lacie P9230 3TB hard drive, I wonder if one of you already has done it?

Removing the rubbers below, gives access to the four screws that fix the hard drive, but the housing itself seems clipped.

I don't want to damage the plastic nor the metal of the housing.
Hence, I wonder at which precise locations should I put the screwdrivers to unclip it.

I can see two rectangular holes on the front of the enclosure.
Should I push here first ?

Thank you.

Solved. It suffice to press with a small flat screwdriver in the two small rectangurar holes on the front of the housing. Then, the metallic cover can easily removed.
