ST500DM002....Cannot access the terminal

I have 2 Seagate Sata ST500DM002 hdd, both the hdd spins normal but cannot access the terminal. Even I try to short pin point also ....it shows the following message as show below after shorting :-

Can you report us more info about HDD.
FW, ROM, PCB info too
symptomps about HDD, clicking sounds, the drive starts spining, and oter data.

Maybe posible that you can send HDD sticker pics and PCB both sides pics.

Data is important? or maybe not important?

High chance it is a problem with the terminal set up. What is your hardware and software terminal set up?

Hd spin normally, no strange sound only terminal is not accessable, as we are using PC3K
I contact to ACE support but they said, short the pin point.....still hdd is not getting ready
Data is important.

Are you sure that you terminal is in good condition?

test it with other working similar HDD

I have checked with other working hdd, terminal is properly working.....
Hdd have some strange problem and I have 2 of them.....

did hard drive report his model and capacity correctly in PC3K ?

Are you sure you are shorting the correct points at the correct time?

No hdd stay only busy and I am shorting right points......

This takes some finesse. Wait for the second "spin-up" message in terminal then short the points. Keep shorting the points for a few seconds; remove short. Terminal output will continue for a few minutes and then stop. Drive should then be ready. These drives do not spin down during the procedure but they will come ready if your technique is good. Patience.
