Hey I have a samsung G3 station in which the usb port inside the drive broke, and now I am unable to connect my device to the computer. I opened up the external drive and noticed that the usb port was connected to a power adapter. Does anyone know where can I find the same or one similar? Or if there is another way that I can recover the data hidden in this drive.
Thanks

hi, I have repaired a few drives by either fixing USB connector or soldering a tap to points just enough to retrieve data. If you are in AU or want to post inter..I can do it for you, or you should be able to find an electronics repair to do it. Can you post pictures of it?
You might be able to get one on ebay and swap drives, but Ive noticed encryption words bandied about, so hopefully they aren't tied to that specific USB board like some WD's
